Rock Island Lake Club: Where It All Began
Rock Island will always hold a special place in my heart—it was my introduction to the wedding industry. The venue opened in 2014, and I was hired after responding to a Craigslist ad (oh, how times have changed!). I started as a receptionist, eventually assisted weddings as a coordinator, and worked my way up to becoming the Director of Marketing & Brand Operations in just a few years. This opportunity allowed me to build the brand from the ground up and grow alongside it. I was given creative freedom to thrive, and it sparked my love for both the wedding industry and design. It was here that I truly discovered my passion for branding, which ultimately inspired me to start my own venture as a website and brand designer for wedding venues and professionals.
